(Origin and 1st appearance of Captain Marvel, originally published in 1940) is one in a series of reprints published in 1975 by comic and toy collector Don Maris. This Maris edition reproduces the complete original comic including ad pages, but all interior pages are in black-and-white rather than the original color.
